The Rifters Story

Rifters is a small batch gin, handcrafted in Arrowtown, New Zealand.

Every bottle is made with flavourful botanicals and pure New Zealand artesian water. We keep the batches small because that's the only way to do it properly: close attention, no shortcuts, and a genuine interest in what ends up in the glass.

It's made to be enjoyed. Ideally with good company, no particular agenda, and somewhere decent to sit.

Care For Our Land Central Otago gave us everything. The water, the landscape, the reason anyone would want to come here in the first place. We take that seriously, looking after the place that makes what we make possible.

Yarn Gin is a drink for talking. Sit down, pour one, and see where the conversation goes. Some of the best hours we've had started with a bottle on the table and no plan to be anywhere else.

Get Immersed Don't rush it. Whether that's the landscape, the drink, or whatever you've got on this weekend, get properly into it. Half-measures are for other things.
